Support
If something isn't working the way you expect, it often helps to restart Weather Studio, make sure your device is connected to the internet, and check that you're running the latest version from the App Store.
Common questions
Do I need an account to use Weather Studio?
No. Weather Studio doesn't require an account, and there's no cloud sync — your data stays on your device.
How do I add a location?
Search for a location in the app, or choose to use your current location. Location access is optional and is only used for weather.
Does Weather Studio show ads or track me?
No ads, no cross-app tracking, and no account required. See the Privacy Policy for details.
Weather data / WeatherKit issues
Weather Studio gets its weather from Apple Weather (WeatherKit). If weather looks missing, delayed, or incorrect:
- Make sure your device is online.
- If you're using your current location, check that Location permission is enabled for Weather Studio in iOS Settings.
- Weather is cached on your device so it can display offline, so it may be stale until it refreshes.
Weather outages or data delays are generally controlled by the weather data provider rather than Weather Studio.
Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets
Weather Studio widgets display cached weather and your saved configuration — such as which location and layout a widget shows.
- Home Screen widgets are available in Small, Medium, and Large sizes.
- Lock Screen widgets are available in Circular, Rectangular, and Inline styles.
- If a widget looks wrong, remove it and add it again, or confirm the location and layout chosen in its settings.
Dashboard tiles and layouts
Your dashboard is built from weather tiles you can resize, arrange, and customize — and you can keep a different setup for every saved location.
- Rearrange and customize tiles by editing your dashboard.
- Create a different layout for each saved location.
- If a tile isn't showing data, confirm that weather is available for that location.
